Details BOC Sciences Insect Cell Transfection Reagent is a lipid preparation based on cationic lipids and DOPE, which can be used to deliver DNA to insect cells, especially Sf9 and Sf21. When mixed with DNA, a lipid complex of lipid and DNA is formed. The formed lipid complex can efficiently deliver the target DNA into insect cells with minimal toxicity.
Cell Types Insect cells, especially Sf9 and Sf21.
Form Liquid.
Features
  • Highly efficient delivery of plasmids, bacmids, and co-transfections of a transfer vector and baculovirus DNA into Sf9 and Sf21 cells.
  • Easy to operate.
  • Compatible with various insect cell culture media.
  • Low cell cytotoxicity.
Identification Without nuclease contamination and microbial contamination.
Use Limitations For research use only.
Description Reagents for transfection of DNA and RNA into insect cells.
